OXVA Velocity Kit
The Oxva Velocity can function as a pod system or as box mod by using the detachable 510 adapter. By providing a simple-to-use tool to remove the 510 adapter, Oxva ensures that it will not come loose when carried or if dropped.
The Velocity is also the first device we have seen that is compatible with three types of batteries. This enhances flexibility, as you can choose between a smaller lighter 18650 battery, a bigger but longer lasting 21700 battery or a 20700 battery that fits between the two.
The Velocity is equipped with a buck-boost converter PCBA which ensures efficient and stable output even when the battery level drops. The photon chip also provides different modes, with smart mode allowing you to remove the guesswork from choosing the correct power levels, and power and voltage mode giving you ultimate control over your vape. Six colour themes allow you to customise the look of your device.
WHO IS THE OXVA VELOCITY FOR?
This device is suitable for experienced vapers who are familiar with high wattage vaping and are looking for a combination of a light compact device with enough power for thick, dense vapour.
The Velocity works with Oxva Unipro coils, and is also compatible with Unipro RBA – the first RBA coil suitable for both Mouth-to-Lung and Direct Lung vaping.
0.15 Ω Coil: 60 – 80 W
0.3 Ω Mesh Coil: 30 – 40 W
How does Smart Mode work?
Smart mode detects the resistance of the coil, and limits the maximum wattage you can use it at. This helps ensure your coil lasts longer.
What is the difference between 20700, 21700 and 18650 mAh batteries?
These numbers refer to the size of the battery.
20700: 20 x 70 mm
21700: 21 x 70 mm
18650: 18 x 65mm
In general, the bigger the battery the bigger the capacity (measured in mAh), although the exact battery capacity varies between different brands.
What is a PCBA?
PCBA refers to Printed Circuit Board Assembly, and refers to an electronic circuit board after all components and parts have been assembled.
What e-liquid can you use in this device?
The 0.3 Ω coil works best with VG:PG ratios of 70:30, while the 0.15 Ω coils works with VG:PG ratios of 70:30 and above.
How long does the coil last?
Coil life depends on many factors, including how long you puff for, the e-liquid you use and the wattage you use your coil at. Low resistance coils, which are used at higher wattages, will not last as long as higher resistance coils.
You can extend coil life by:
- Priming the coil before usage
- Using e-liquid with the right VG:PG ratios
- Not going above the recommended wattage
- Topping up your tank so that the coil never dries out
With care, these coils should last several days before needing replacing.
- Switch Timeout Protection
- Short-Circuit Protection
- Overcharge Protection
